Visit the project website at www.heydayoc.com. Heyday Oak Creek will consist of 130 single-family attached (SFA) rental homes within 22 buildings, as well as a leasing office/maintenance building. The buildings will feel and operate like ranch style homes with attached parking garages. Most homes offer two-car direct access garages, while 16 homes have an oversized 1-car garage. All garages will offer electrical vehicle charging outlets. In addition, the garages will have 22’ parking aprons that can be used for guest parking. Each home will have a covered front porch, as well as a large private patio off the living space. The homes will either open onto large landscaped common areas referred to as garden courtyards, or to conservation / open space areas dense with existing old growth vegetation and wetlands. Through conservation-oriented development strategies Heyday Oak Creek will be a unique residential community that features a private, serene, spacious, and park-like community, all the while being an infill neighborhood site with proximity to transportation and retail. The site plan concept proposes a walking trail that will traverse conserved natural wooded and wetland areas. Residents will have access to bike and walking paths throughout the community connecting to adjacent residential neighborhoods, an expansive dog park, community playground, and a community garden where residents can plant, grow, and maintain their own fruits and vegetables. The size of the subject site and the natural amenities will create a community far superior to the traditional residential neighborhoods. The project broke ground in August 2023 and is scheduled to be completed by December 2024.
